Also we are collecting stuff for the "Space Invaders" paste event in Canberra that will remain in a public art space for a year which is pretty good for paste. Instructions below or I can receive some work on Monday in Sydney if you wanna contact me. There is a stairwell being pasted at Ladeda venue coming Wednesday too I could possibly sneak some stuff into...

Art, Not Apart is an annual contemporary arts festival in Canberra that takes over unique indoor and outdoor spaces across NewActon, parts of Lake Burley Griffin, and Westside Acton Park on 19 March 2016, 1pm to 7pm + afterparties. The idea is simple: this is art, no-one’s apart. Art shapes the patterns of existence into something recognisable – the festival uses art to present the richness of life and encourages people to realise and appreciate the connections between varying perspectives. This is strongly reflected by this year’s festival theme – ‘patterns of now’.

The ANA team are seeking contributions from artists and creators to collaborate with us in the creation of a pasteup gallery, assembled live on the day of the festival. The “Paste Invaders” project will be covering a 40ft shipping container at Westside Acton Park. Black and white, full colour, illustrative, photographic, whatever you’re into. You can send high-res digital files or vector files to curator@artnotapart.com (links to Dropbox or otherwise are preferable as .zip folders won’t pass our spam filters) with the subject line “Paste Invaders”. We’re printing works right now so get your stuff to us soon – deadline is Thursday 17th March @ 7pm (next week!) so move quickly if you’d like to get your pieces in the mix.

Artists who submit their work will be attributed on the wall and on our online program (www.artnotapart.com) including links to website if you can provide them. If you’re local or keen to travel interstate for the festival, come play on the day and help out our coordinators Geoff Filmer and Chris Tamm, and continue the fun into the night with our afterparty F_ck Art, Let’s Party.
